I've been going here for almost 7 years. The staff is tremendously overworked because they serve a huge number of elderly, disabled, and indigent people. Nevertheless, they have always treated me with the greatest professionalism and compassion. I have an incurable illness, and a great deal of pain, and they have never given up on me.
The negative reviews here are idiotic. One mental defective accuses the staff of "stealing residents property". Health clinics are not nursing homes. No one lives at the WHC.

If I could rate them negative stars, I would. The appointment setters are rude and don't listen when you speak. The place is filled with handsy drug addicts who keep trying to touch my baby.
I see my GP here, but they have tons of different services (lab work, counseling, pharmacy, HIV/AIDS treatment, services based on Native Hawaiian treatments for Native Hawaiians, and soooooo much more). THEY ARE THE BEST. Before I had insurance I used their reasonable sliding scale to pay (for appointments, lab work, AND meds at the pharmacy). When I got insurance I stuck with them because I don't want to go anywhere else. They have locations other than the Ohua clinic but I chose to drive from Wahiawa to Waikiki because it's the most comprehensive location, and it's worth it. Appointments are best but they do take walk-ins if there are openings. They have their own parking, just get a pass at the front desk (it wasn't always this way. It used to be difficult to get parking. Now there is ALWAYS an open spot). I'll stop here but I could go on and on. I have nothing but good things to say about the clinic and the staff and I would rate them higher if I could.
Not very helpful. I came in with strep throat and all i get is, “oh sorry we’re not a walk in clinic” cool thanks! Hawaii has the worst health care, ever.
