Horrible company. Literally man handled all our stuff. Dropped our mattress in the red dirt staining it. SCRATCHED OUR NEW WOOD FLOORS. Literally couldn't get them to pick our rubbish up. We kept leaving messages and they wouldn't get back to us. Finally after leaving 3 messages and talking to people multiple times they came and picked it up.
Update: They are also liars. Claim they were instructed to deliver boxes outside, but were absolutely not. I also found out later the stuff that I thought was delivered inside, was actually brought inside from my wife. They did apologize and try to send the guys back, but much later in the day after we had completed the job ourself. Also my doorbell is still broke. Again, avoid this company at all cost.
Beware. When hired to move equipment, you are responsible end to end. When damaged beyond repair, you don't have the liberty to state it may have been Young Brothers. A mock internal review was held and ...Oh surprise! RHMovers is not at fault. Well, just who was then? I am left with damaged goods. Extremely dissatisfied. what's done is done. Will never use them again or allow a contractor to use them again.
Lazy movers. I had to be at work while the movers delivered our stuff, so my 8 months pregnant wife was at home dealing with it. The delivered some stuff inside, but left half our stuff outside our doorstep. Also, they broke my doorbell in doing so. Avoid this company at all cost. I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint within USAF channels to make sure no one else on base has to deal with this. If you are military and get these guys, request someone else, or watch them very closely taking pictures and documenting everything.
Worst moving experience ever. To begin, I had a total of 6 people at my house to do an inland move. They managed to drop and break my brand new washing machine off their lift gate. In addition, everything I required of the movers when it came to set up bedroom furniture was ignored. There was a lot of miscommunication. Thankfully I purchased full insurance, but I am still waiting in the insurance claims department to get ahold of me and organize a payoff solution. The manager did his best to apologize and make things right which is appreciated. If you have expensive furniture either purchase full insurance or go with another company all together. I am now without a washer for weeks at least. I will not use Royal Hawaiian Movers ever again.
If your doing an outbound move they will give you no status on your shipment. I've called and emailed. All I got was "we know this is a frustrating time. Our operational team is working on your shipment". I have a baby due in 3 weeks.. so no you do not understand my frustration of not even getting a date.
