Happened to walk in to this store yesterday. I have started avoiding all pier 1's on the island due to the fact that I am treated poorly every time. Yesterday, I was interested in purchasing a papason chair. I was ready to buy one! Then, not ONE person who worked there would come over and talk to us. We tried waving down 3 people, made eye contact with 2 of them and not a single one of them decided that we needed help. We were not greeted as we entered nor did anyone notice when we left and took our sale with us. Today, I will try the store in Pearl City to see if there is better customer service there.
Very uncomfortable to shop without carts. I was always addicted to this store while living on mainland but at this location they have no carts so I can't take kids with me so I never shop there anymore.
