We were seated for dinner with only two other people sitting in the restaurant eating their dinner. We sat for an extended period of time with ZERO service (not even water), or acknowledgement from the waiter. It’s a small place so it’s not like he didn’t see us. After another couple of minutes a third couple came in and sat down right across from us. As soon as they sat down he says “hey, long time no see? What can I get for you two?” So my assumption and warning to others, is if your not a local, don’t expect any service.Their are a lot of other great restaurants to go in the area, if you actually want to eat!
Very cute and cozy cafe, offering some interesting dishes such as pork belly benedict and Hawaiin classic omelette with kale and wheat muffin. A variety of health drink to choose from, such as papaya smoothie and the lemonade, which is made of brown sugar and freshly squeezed lemon juice. The only downside is the wait due to its popularity. We got there just after 9 am on Monday and the long queue was formed quickly. To avoid the wait, either go there before 9 or after 10 to skip the peak hour.
I give it 4 stars, nothing and no one is perfect. This is a perfect score.
PRO: The food was great! I may even go back before the end of my vacation stay.
Cute and quaint little cafe. It's small, so be prepared to stand outside "to the right" after signing in. We must've waited over 30 minutes. The person I was with complained the whole entire time, a few other couples and groups scratched their names off of the list and left. I am a patient soul whom doesn't mind waiting patiently to enjoy a nice surprise, which I expected was awaiting me since I read the other reviews prior to deciding to eat at Goofy's.
Great food. Small place, expect some waiting time to be seated. Worth the wait. Acai bowl with local fresh fruit. Yummy
I chose this place because I wanted something light in the morning before being in the water all day. I've never had an Acai bowl but I've been dying to try one for a while. I absolutely loved the local fruits one. I honestly don't see them possibly even tasting better than this one did, so I was presently surprised. The fruit was very sweet and tasty and I will probably grab another one. The eggs Benedict with potatoes was also good. I tried a bite and loved the sweetness in the potatoes. I definitely recommend. Our wait was only 10 minutes maybe. Definitely worth it. The staff are more so trained like in Korea where if you need something you ask, otherwise they leave you alone. I personally love that and they were all very happy to do anything for you.
A few CONS... (1) the wait, I guess (2) the silverware is already at the table. My fork was dirty, it had a dried up lemon seed stuck in it, was quickly replaced (3) no lemon wedges for water (4) my friend's opinion...the alcoholic beverages contain an undetectable amount of alcohol, very weak.
