I come here every other day for work and the same chick at the same counter helps me. Every single time I'm here she not just talking story with the ones she recognizes holding up the line even more.. she's talking crap about people. She's really unprofessional, not rude but if there's a line of people waiting hurry up and do your job so we can all get out of here
I was told to send a letter to close my account. Heard nothing. Sent Another letter. Heard Nothing after a month. Called up 7 times, was told everything was completed and they had received my letters. I Called up the next week to make sure because they have a habit of not doing their job and they still had not closed it.
Went to refinance home loan. Loan officer didn't even bother to walk us to his desk. he stood over us at the lobby, smacking his gum, as he explained since our home was in Kalihi we wouldn't qualify for a "traditional refinance". He handed us his business card and told us to contact him. The very same day we went to First Hawaiian and were treated completely different. The loan officer wrote down our names, looked at our documents that we had with us, and explained all the different rates currently available. Needless to say we went with the latter and have had our refianance loan approved. I suppose the $70,000 Bank of Hawaii could have made off our loan just wasn't enough to provide us with an ounce of good customer service.
