Convenient, no lines
I called Honolulu Federal Credit Union 12June2017 and requested a payoff quote. The teller had a hard time with that function and requested assistance to provide this quote. That same day I sent a check for that exact amount and the bank received the payment before the payoff quote expired. Trust but verify, I called the bank on 20June2017 and found out that my account has fallen victim to bank error. After a lengthy phone call, and a return phone call, Honolulu Federal Credit Union admitted that they handled my account improperly and that they had bank errors on their end that prevented me from getting my automobile title. The bank won't fix this error. The bank will not send me my title. I've requested that they simply close my account and that I would be willing to pay for their mistake with my own hard earned money; just close all of my accounts and send me a check for the balance. The bank supervisor would not do this, they want a written letter from me. Why should I have to go out of my way to get a title for a car I paid off in full?
I love banking here. Everyone is nice. The new location is beautiful and has ample parking. They are also doing a lot of community events out of this location. So glad they moved from Ala Moana.
