I went through the recording again and selected speak to a representative. The message also gave the option to push Zero or just wait for a live caller. I waited. Instead of a live representative, there was yet another message that said due to high call volume, they were not answering calls and were not taking messages. Then hung up! Wha??
"Due to high call volume, we cannot accept messages. Please try your call again later" and disconnected the call yet again!
I phoned Division of Treasury to find out my property tax bill. Call was during business hours. Recorded message (of course) gave me 6 options to choose from. I chose "options to pay your property tax." After a lengthy recording about types of payment and where to go to pay, I started over and then selescted the "speak to a representative." instead of a representative, it took me back to how to pay a bill.
I called back yet again and listed to the same ridiculous gab about selecting the various phone options. This time I pressed Zero to get to a live operator.
Holy smokes Honolulu Government!! Do you guys even work one day a week? We pay taxes in change for WHaT???
